Susan Boyle has left a London clinic where she was being treated for exhaustion and is "much happier" now, her brother Gerry Boyle said Friday.

Boyle was admitted to the private clinic last Sunday after coming second in the Britain's Got Talent finale Saturday night.

She was said to have suffered an anxiety attack, shouting and throwing a glass of water at a staff member backstage after her loss. The dance act Diversity won the reality TV talent competition.

Boyle is now staying at a London flat and starting to make plans for the future, her brother said.

During the eight-week talent competition, Boyle went from a quiet life as a church volunteer in a small town to global fame after a video of her first performance garnered more than 220 million views on YouTube.

Gerry Boyle said his sister has been assured the second place finish in the contest is not the end of her singing career.

"Things are becoming clearer for her now. She's now beginning to believe that, 'Yes, indeed, I will be a singer,'" he said in TV interview.

There are unconfirmed reports that Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has offered to help with her career.

She is also said to have received offers from the U.S., including an invitation to sing at Demi Moore's wedding anniversary.
