Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has teamed up with Discovery for a reality TV series chronicling the eco-friendly rebuilding of a Kansas town destroyed by a tornado.
The 13-part series, Eco-Town, will feature the construction of Greensburg and will be shown on the Discovery Channel's new cable network Planet Green.

The town is to be rebuilt as a "sustainable model of eco-living and one that will save it from future environmental catastrophe."
"This is at the centre of what we want to do with Planet Green," said David Zaslav, the CEO of Discovery Communications.
A tornado ripped through Greensburg, population 1,500, on May 4, killing 10 people and levelling almost all the town's houses, buildings, school and even the hospital.
The project will follow state and local officials as they attempt to create an ecologically and economically sustainable town.
DiCaprio will executive produce through his company, Appian Way, along with Craig Piligiann of Pilgrim Films & Television.
DiCaprio, a champion of environmental causes, hosted the ABC News special Planet Earth 2000. He recently appeared on the Live Earth broadcast addressing the problem of carbon emissions.
The Oscar-nominated actor, recently seen in Blood Diamond and The Departed, is busy in production. He's reunited with his Titanic co-star Kate Winslet for Revolutionary Road, due out in 2008.
