Glee's 'unintentional' tribute to Whitney Houston

The timing was impeccable.
The circumstance was tragic.
Fox's hit series, Glee, dedicated Tuesday night's episode to the late Whitney Houston -- by sheer coincidence.
The Valentine's Day-themed episode, titled Heart, featured a cover of Houston's signature hit, I Will Always Love You, sung by Amber Riley (Mercedes). In the emotional scene, Riley says goodbye to both her current boyfriend, Shane, and her ex, Sam.
Reports say producers of the show had planned for the cover long before Houston's death, but decided to update the episode by dedicating it to the late pop icon in a title card that ran at the end of the credits.
It read: "Whitney Houston 1963-2012. We will always love you."
It's the second high-profile tribute to Houston and the song since her death on Saturday. Jennifer Hudson sang I Will Always Love You during a tribute to the fallen star at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
Watch Riley do Houston full justice with her cover of I Will Always Love You.
