Cirque du Soleil trampolinist hurt in Montreal

The 24-year-old man fell from a trampoline and suffered life-threatening head injuries, a spokesman for Montreal's emergency medical service said.
The man, who was unconscious when paramedics arrived around 10 a.m., was taken to the emergency room at Sacré-Cœur hospital.
The incident happened at the Cirque’s training facility in the city's St-Michel neighbourhood.
Cirque du Soleil spokesperson Chantal Côté declined to comment on the condition of the man, who is Ukrainian.
"Our main priority right now is that he receives the best care possible," Côté said.
The training facility was closed Friday as the province's workplace health and safety board opened an investigation into the accident.
The Montreal-based entertainment company employs more than 4,000 people worldwide, including more than 1,000 artists.
The Cirque has 20 different shows playing around the world.
