Dancer Jason Reilly to stay with Stuttgart Ballet

(Andreas Langen)Toronto-born ballet star Jason Reilly has reversed his decision to return home and decided to remain at Germany's Stuttgart Ballet.
In interviews, Reilly attributed his last-minute change of heart to the fear he might lose out on coveted guest engagements across Europe by moving back to Canada.
Much ado was made earlier this year when the vibrant 29-year-old dancer announced his intention to return home.
Reilly trained at the National Ballet School in Toronto, but rose to fame as a member of the German company over more than a decade.
Canadian dance fans will still get a chance to see Reilly perform in the National Ballet's production of The Sleeping Beauty in November: first at an Ottawa engagement at the National Arts Centre and later that month at the company's home venue, Toronto's Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
