The Cirque du Soleil is set to extend its reach in Sin City even further, with officials announcing Thursday a partnership with popular magician Criss Angel for another permanent Las Vegas show.
The as-yet-unnamed live production is set to take the stage in summer 2008 at the Luxor Resort and Casino, where the magician and illusionist has already been filming upcoming new episodes of his A&E TV series Mindfreak, officials said.

Describing the new show as "Criss in Wonderland," director Serge Denoncourt said the 39-year-old long-haired magician will appear "in a world he doesn't control, and he has problems with girls, with giants, with evil."
The strange world will be filled with the Montreal-based Cirque's signature acrobatics, puppetry, dancers, contortionists and other performers. Angel will also help compose music for the show.
"I've spent 15 years creating and evolving a concept that the world of entertainment has never seen," Angel said in a statement.
"I am confident that this collaboration will culminate in what is destined to become one of the most exciting shows Las Vegas has ever seen and redefine magic in the same way Cirque du Soleil has redefined the circus."
The Luxor's last headline act was a short-lived run of the Broadway musical Hairspray.
The unnamed new production will be the Cirque's sixth permanent production in Las Vegas, after long-running shows Mystère, O, Zumanity, Ka and the Beatles-themed Love.
A seventh Cirque show, inspired by rock 'n' roll icon Elvis Presley, is also set to open in the city in 2009.

FILM REVIEW: Men in Black 3 by Eli Glasner May. 25, 2012 11:40 AM Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back in the action sequel Men in Black 3, a third instalment of a series now 15 years old. Though new addition Josh Brolin manages some amazing mimicry as a younger version of Jones, the story doesn't measure up to the weird and wonderful charms of the original, says film reviewer Eli Glasner.
