This has become something of a ritual, hasn't it? I'm referring to DJ Earworm's mix of the biggest (in some cases, most obnoxious) pop songs of the year. The San Francisco-based producer (civilian identity: Jordan Roseman) has been mashing up the top 25 songs on the Billboard charts since 2007, and it's always an amusing way to wind down the year.
There's really no explanation necessary for what Mr. Earworm does - it's simply meant to be consumed. But for those who are curious, here's the list of songs included in this year's mash-up, which is entitled: United State of Pop 2010 (Don't Stop the Pop).
