A Twitter prank by Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber has two Texas residents so riled that they're seeking compensation.
The 18-year-old singer tweeted a phone number on his personal account with the message, “Call me right now,” various media are reporting.
The phone number was missing a digit, and as a good portion of his 19 million followers tried to guess the number, two people in Texas have said they were inundated with phone calls from Bieber fanatics throughout the day.
The two called the stunt “reckless.”
Bieber later deleted his tweet.
A lawyer representing the two, who claim to have received more than 1,000 calls, said the Texas residents want compensation.
They also added that the teen heartthrob could make it up to them with an apology, concert tickets and money.
