The 20th annual Collingwood Elvis Festival will have some added star power this year.

Priscilla Presley, the ex-wife of the late King of Rock and Roll, will appear at the event for the first time.

Organizers say she will use the visit to promote her book Shades of Elvis, along with co-author Christopher Ameruoso.

This year's festival will be held from July 23rd to the 27th in the Georgian Bay community.

Elvis and Priscilla were married from 1967 to 1973 and had a daughter, Lisa Marie.

Priscilla was responsible for building up Elvis Presley Enterprises after the music legend died in 1977. As an actress, she is known for her roles in Dallas and The Naked Gun movies.
