Tween heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers return to Toronto this June as hosts of the MuchMusic Video Awards.

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas also will perform at the awards show, which recognizes excellence in Canadian music videos.

Nominees for the MMVAs will be announced in May. This year's other performers have yet to be announced.

The Jonas Brothers are a U.S. pop-rock band from Wyckoff, N.J., who first became popular on the Disney Channel.

They are set to release their fourth studio album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, just ahead of the MMVAs.

The June 21 award show coincides with the beginnings of a Jonas Brothers world tour that includes several Canadian dates. They are slated to play in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal.

More than 6,000 screaming fans shut down the streets around MuchMusic headquarters in Toronto last July when the Jonas Brothers made a live appearance.

The MMVA features opportunities for fans to see the stars, either arriving for the awards gala or performing on the streets in downtown Toronto.
