Britney Spears's family is moving to gain tighter control of her health and affairs.
Her father, James Spears, extended his temporary control over her personal and financial affairs with a court ruling issued Monday.
On Tuesday, details came out about a restraining order her mother Lynne Spears has against Britney's manager, Sam Lutfi.
The order claims Lutfi, a long-time friend who lives at Spears's home, has taken "control of her life, home and finances."
The judge extended Spears's father's control over her affairs until Feb. 14, after doctors recommended she remain in hospital a further two weeks for a mental assessment.
The pop singer was scheduled to be released Sunday after a 72-hour stint in hospital, but now will remain at UCLA Medical Center.
She also was ordered to have no contact with Lutfi, by phone, text message or any other means.
Lutfi has been ordered to stay away from her and her home and to stop harassing her.
In a declaration before the court, Lynne Spears claimed: "Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney, he has cut Britney's home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers.
"He yells at her. He claims to control everything — Britney's business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate."
The judge refused to hear from lawyer Adam Streisand, who claimed to represent Spears.
Streisand said the singer is estranged from her father and it was causing her "more agitation and more distress" to have him as executor.
Britney Spears is estimated to have assets valued at $40 million US.
Vivian Thoreen, attorney for James Spears, said he was not intending to take her money.
"He's here to get her medical help. He's here to take over while she's healing," she said.

FILM REVIEW: Men in Black 3 by Eli Glasner May. 25, 2012 11:40 AM Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back in the action sequel Men in Black 3, a third instalment of a series now 15 years old. Though new addition Josh Brolin manages some amazing mimicry as a younger version of Jones, the story doesn't measure up to the weird and wonderful charms of the original, says film reviewer Eli Glasner.
