U.S. chart-toppers Eminem, Beyoncé Knowles, Gwen Stefani, Ludacris, Pussycat Dolls, Fall Out Boy and Justin Timberlake are among the international artists and bands vying for MMVAs.
Altogether, organizers will present trophies in 17 categories, with four decided by the public through online or text-message voting: favourite international group, favourite international artist, favourite Canadian group and favourite Canadian artist.
All winners will be announced on June 17 at the performance-packed MuchMusic Video Awards ceremony, which typically spills out onto the downtown Toronto intersection outside the MuchMusic headquarters and draws thousands of screaming music fans.

FILM REVIEW: Men in Black 3 by Eli Glasner May. 25, 2012 11:40 AM Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back in the action sequel Men in Black 3, a third instalment of a series now 15 years old. Though new addition Josh Brolin manages some amazing mimicry as a younger version of Jones, the story doesn't measure up to the weird and wonderful charms of the original, says film reviewer Eli Glasner.
