Estranged couple Madonna and Guy Ritchie presented a united front on Wednesday, saying they're happy with their divorce settlement and their finances are nobody else's business.

Liz Rosenberg, a spokesperson for the pop music icon, said Monday that the singer would pay the British filmmaker a settlement in the range of 50 million to 60 million pounds (about $94 million to $113 million Cdn). She also said she believed it to be "one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement."

However, the couple issued a joint statement Wednesday saying Rosenberg had issued incorrect information.

"A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to [Associated Press] this week," the couple said.

"The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement."

The 50-year-old Madonna and Ritchie, 40, added that their main concern is "the care and well-being of our children."

The couple have two sons: eight-year-old Rocco and three-year-old David, whom they adopted from Malawi in 2006. Madonna also has a 12-year-old daugther, Lourdes, from a previous relationship.
