Fans of the Cowboys received some good news when entertainer Jessica Simpson, the girlfriend of quarterback Tony Romo, revealed she wouldn't be attending Dallas's playoff game against the New York Giants on Sunday at Texas Stadium.
Simpson is considered somewhat of a bad luck charm for Romo after she was a special guest of the quarterback during his worst performance of the season.

She was seen in a private box sporting a Dallas jersey with a pink No. 9 on it as Romo threw three interceptions in the Cowboys' 10-6 home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Dec. 13, only their second defeat to that point in the season.
"She is not attending, she's working on a new album," said Cindy Berger, publicist for Simpson. "She will not be there, but she'll be watching [on TV] and cheering [Romo] on."
Three days following the loss, star Dallas receiver Terrell Owens said that Simpson is "not a fan favourite in this locker room or in Texas Stadium."
With some media outlets taking his remarks seriously, Owens later admitted he was simply joking and apologized.
Perhaps not-so-coincidentally, Romo's poorest effort last season occurred against the same Eagles team when then-girlfriend, Carrie Underwood of American Idol fame, was cheering from the stands.
"Ouch," said Giants fan Zach Curran, 26, of Jersey City after learning of Simpson's decision not to show up for the game.
"The Giants needed her like a [12th] man or a secret weapon."
The NFL's divisonal playoff round begins with two Saturday games, followed by two more games on Sunday.

FILM REVIEW: Men in Black 3 by Eli Glasner May. 25, 2012 11:40 AM Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back in the action sequel Men in Black 3, a third instalment of a series now 15 years old. Though new addition Josh Brolin manages some amazing mimicry as a younger version of Jones, the story doesn't measure up to the weird and wonderful charms of the original, says film reviewer Eli Glasner.
