Actress Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are expecting their first child together, the country singer announced Monday on his website.
Kidman, an Oscar winner and star of The Golden Compass, her latest movie release, married Urban in June 2006.

The Australian-born actress, 40, is in Sydney, working on Baz Luhrmann's story of outback life, Australia.
Urban, who took a break from a North American tour over Christmas, was with her in Sydney at the time of the announcement.
The two have a home in Sydney and a farm in Tennessee.
"Very excited …thrilled," Kidman told Australian media on Monday outside a Sydney restaurant.
The baby is believed to be due in July.
Kidman's Australian publicist, Wendy Day, said the actress has withdrawn from her next project, Stephen Daldry's drama The Reader, because of her pregnancy.
Kidman has two adopted children from her marriage to entertainer Tom Cruise. Isabella is 14 and Connor is 12.
Kidman is a multiple Academy Award nominee, winning for best lead actress for 2002's The Hours.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, she said she had a miscarriage early in her relationship with Cruise. They have been divorced since 2001.
There has been speculation about a Kidman pregnancy on and off for years, and media have been keeping close watch since her marriage to Urban.
"For years I've seen speculation and for years it's never been right, so I didn't think it was right this time," Day said, adding that she heard from Kidman confirming the pregnancy on Monday.
Kidman has been quoted by Australian media as saying she would love to give birth.

FILM REVIEW: Men in Black 3 by Eli Glasner May. 25, 2012 11:40 AM Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back in the action sequel Men in Black 3, a third instalment of a series now 15 years old. Though new addition Josh Brolin manages some amazing mimicry as a younger version of Jones, the story doesn't measure up to the weird and wonderful charms of the original, says film reviewer Eli Glasner.
