Michaels, creator of Saturday Night Live, served as best man. Martin holds the record as the most frequent host ever on that show.
Ever the private individual, Martin posted a message on his website Sunday revealing nothing except this: "!"
Martin was previously married to his British co-star in 1984's All of Me and 1991's L.A. Stories, Victoria Tennant. That marriage ended in 1994.
The comedian said his vows sporting an Inspector Clouseau moustache, grown for the upcoming sequel to 2006's Pink Panther remake.
It marks the first marriage of Stringfield, 35, who met Martin about five years ago. Stringfield is a former staffer with The New Yorker magazine and currently writes for Vogue.
Martin's other movies include Father of the Bride, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, and Parenthood. His novel, Shopgirl, was made into a movie in 2005.
