The CBS network has fired two shock jocks over an on-air slur against Asians, according to media reports.

The hosts of New York-based radio show The Dog House with JV and Elvis, Jeff Vandergrift and Dan Lay, were fired Monday.

They had been suspended and their show  cancelled after the two placed an on-air order to a Chinese restaurant for "slimp flied lice."

They broadcast the prank call, which included comparing food items to certain parts of the body, twice, even after fellow shock jock Don Imus got into trouble over remarks he made about a black women's basketball team.

After the prank call was broadcast, the Organization of Chinese Americans, an advocacy group, blasted the network and demanded CBS fire the hosts.

Imus, who had enjoyed a large national audience for his radio and television program, was eventually fired over his on-air gaffe, which angered African-Americans.

"In the wake of the Imus case, it would have been maddening to the community if these idiots did not get fired," Queens city councilman John Liu told the New York Post.
