The show, aired in Canada and the U.S. on the XM Satellite network, features the veteran folk and rockĀ artist playing his favourite music.

Dylan often reflects on the historic roots of music and speaks about his own experiences on the well-regarded show.

Dylan, who has sold almost 100 million albums worldwide, began broadcasting in May.

The show will be carried by BBC's digital rock station 6 Music, every Friday evening beginning the third week of January.

Britons will get a taste of what to expect on conventional radio during Christmas week, with the show airing on BBC Radio 2 fromĀ Dec. 23 to 28.

Dylan's personal notes and love letters are up for sale as part of a mammoth rock and pop memorabilia auction Dec. 4 at Christie's auction house in New York.
