With his new album Darlings, Canadian singer-songwriter Kevin Drew reflects on wonderful moments of romance as well as those filled with regret.

"I'm very grateful for the moments that I've had," he told CBC News.

"All I try to do is learn, stop, reflect."

Released Tuesday, Darlings strikes a more personal tone than Drew's first solo album, Spirit If.

In the attached video, the musician, frontman and co-founder of Toronto music collective Broken Social Scene talked to CBC's Laura Thompson about the relationships and experiences that inspired Darlings.
