Actor John Travolta, right, said his son Jett 'lit up' people's lives. The 16-year-old died while the family was vacationing in the Bahamas. (Rogers & Cowan/Associated Press)Two pathologists completed their autopsy Monday on American entertainer John Travolta's teenage son, who was found collapsed on the bathroom floor while the family was vacationing at their resort home in the Bahamas.
Funeral home officials revealed Monday that Jett Travolta's death certificate lists the cause of death as "seizure."
However, Bahamian Minister of Health Hubert Minnis did not comment on the cause of death; nor was there official word from the coroner.
Minnis had announced on the weekend that he would have a U.S.-certified forensic pathologist arrive by airplane from Nassau to Grand Bahama Island early Monday to assist the local pathologist.
In addition, Mark Smith, the Travolta family's doctor, received permission from the Bahamian government to attend the procedure, according to the Associated Press.

Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham sent condolences to the Travolta family and said the autopsy is a formality the country requires in cases of sudden death to rule out foul play. He said he expects to release the body of the 16-year-old to his family.
Michael McDermott, a lawyer for the actor, said Travolta and his wife, fellow actor Kelly Preston, are trying to finish funeral arrangements for their 16-year-old son and to send his body back to Florida by mid-week. The celebrity couple has a house in Ocala, Fla.
Meanwhile, security has been stepped up at the luxury Old Bahama Bay resort where Travolta, Preston and their daughter, Ella Bleu, are still staying. A dozen security guards and Bahamian police officers could be seen patrolling the resort community.
Travolta, twice nominated for Academy Awards — for the late-1970s musical Saturday Night Fever and the Quentin Tarantino-directed mob drama Pulp Fiction— said in a statement on his website Sunday that "Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered.
"We have received many messages of condolence from around the world, and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us hope for a brighter future."
Son had history of seizures
The entrance of John Travolta's vacation home is shown at West End, in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas. It's where the actor's son, Jett, was found collapsed in a bathroom on Friday apparently after having a seizure. (Alan Diaz/Associated Press)Jett was last seen by his parents last Thursday evening, according to McDermott. The teen was tired after spending the day with his family on the water and went to his room. His body was discovered by a nanny on Friday morning at around 10 a.m. local time.
Apparently, Travolta tried to revive his son by giving him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
The youth was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the police statement said.
McDermott said he doesn't believe Jett, who had a history of seizures, was in the bathroom for very long.
"The police left the impression that the boy was unsupervised. No. There were two nannies with him for the entire evening," said McDermott on Sunday.

FILM REVIEW: Men in Black 3 by Eli Glasner May. 25, 2012 1:01 AM Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back in the action sequel Men in Black 3, a third instalment of a series now 15 years old. Though new addition Josh Brolin manages some amazing mimicry as a younger version of Jones, the story doesn't measure up to the weird and wonderful charms of the original, says film reviewer Eli Glasner.

Talking about war May. 24, 2012 4:12 PM The public conversation around war has always been complex and thorny. How does Canada's military approach differ from that of other countries? Are we a society of peacekeepers or warriors? These are some of the questions that Noah Richler explores in his new book What We Talk About When We Talk About War.
