There was plenty of pie to go around in Toronto's Little Italy neighbourhood on Sunday after the Food Network's Bob Blumer broke the Guinness World Record for most pizzas made in an hour.
Blumer made 168 cheese and tomato pizzas in 60 minutes, beating the previous record of 142 pies set in 2008.
The stunt was shot for an episode of the channel's Glutton for Punishment on which Blumer attempts to break six world records this season.
The TV chef says the pizza-making frenzy was an "intense" experience that left him shaking in his apron.
The entire feat nearly fell flat when Blumer's pizza oven broke down in the last five minutes. Thankfully a technician was able to get things running again right before the hour was up.
