Carmel Robichaud seems assured of a cabinet post, being the longest-serving woman in the Liberal caucus. Stuart Jamieson, Roly MacIntyre, Kelly Lamrock and Mike Murphy are also easy choices.
Mary Schryer could be touted, as she was one of the few females elected. TJ Burke is also likely, although he may be bumped to the side, as having 3/4 of Fredericton's MLAs in the cabinet might be a tad much. I think Larry Kennedy would accept a cabinet post if offered one this time. Victor Boudreau, Ed Doherty, Brian Kenny and Hédard Albert are also possibilities.

Eugene McGinley for Speaker of the House - well qualified and unlike his predecessor - respected.

Great idea Richard!
On another note, I have heard through the grapevine this morning that Rick Doucet is assured a cabinet post; I would also suspect that TJ Burke, Kelly Lamrock, and Greg Byrne will be around the cabinet table.
The longest serving MLA is Dr. Larry Kennedy, who was elected in '87, but I believe he turned down cabinet posts in the past under McKenna. Correct me if I'm wrong.

In discussions with my grade 12 Poli Sci Class, it was suggested that a special cabinet position be created for Youth. It could be called the Ministry of Youth and might fulfill the long-promised and just as long neglected Youth Advocate Role. Tuition, social services, minimum wage, the law etc. could be covered.
