Profile:
This riding is on the southern coast of the province. It includes
that part of city of Saint John west of intersection of Route 7 and Route
1 including Colpitts, Lorneville, Seaview and Black Beach; that part of
city of Saint John north of Gault Road including South Bay, Acamac, Ketepec,
Belmont, Morna Heights; Martinon to the county of Saint John border; town
of Grand Bay and village of Westfield; all parish of Greenwich and parts
of parishes of Petersville and Westfield.
Redistribution:
This riding was created in the 1995 redistribution from:
Kings Centre - southern and west-central part of riding;
Saint John West - area from eastern part of riding;
Queens South - southern tip moves to west part of this riding.
Political History: Kings had been 3-member seat.
