New Brunswick’s Electoral Boundaries and Representation Commission released a preliminary report on Jan. 17 that designed a new riding map. The commission was asked to cut the number of provincial constituencies to 49 from 55. The commission will be holding a series of public consultations on the map and the final version will be used in the 2014 election.
