The top New Brunswick stories of 2012

A look back at some of the biggest news events of the year.

The New Brunswick headlines that gripped online readers this year were an interesting mix. They range from first-degree murder trials and missing person cases, to school yard bullying and a teacher's controversial decision to tape two students together as punishment, to record flooding and the province's first wolf kill in more than a century.

CBC.ca/nb readers were also drawn to stories about municipal elections that revamped the electoral landscape, warnings about pigeon poop and food recalls, and a LMFAO parody by a group of Sussex students that went viral.
