For those who missed it, here is the latest Spin Reduxit podcast.
The Supersized Edition.
We discuss Premier Shawn Graham's speech to business leaders in Saint John where he promises 20,000 new jobs and not to cut services or raise taxes in order to balance the budget.
Jacques and I discuss the NDP's new tactic to hammer the Liberals and Progressive Conservatives on the pension issue. And in particular, we discuss the political strategy behind launching the "Supersize my pension," poster campaign that is aimed specifically at PC Leader David Alward.
And finally we analyzed, briefly, the breaking news (at the time of recording) that the $1.4-billion refurbishment of the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station is another year behind schedule.
Of course, we want to encourage everyone to come out to our special "live" podcast in Saint John on Fri., Aug. 13 in the City Market. Come and listen to our discussion and then ask any questions you'd like or impress us with obscure New Brunswick political trivia.
