Douglas Dunsmore - Prepares to leave Memorial (Part 1 of 2)

Douglas Dunsmore is preparing to step down from his position as Professor of Choral Activities at Memorial's School of Music. Originally from Regina Saskatchewan, Douglas Dunsmore came to St. John's in 1979. Over the next two weeks Dunsmore re-lives some of the high points in his 33 year university career in St. John's and we'll hear some of the great choral works he's performed with town and gown.

Shanneyganock's McNulty Family Tribute

Shanneyganock pays tribute to the NcNulty Family with a rapid-fire concert of McNulty favourites at the Arts and Culture Centre in St. John's. The McNultys started visiting Newfoundland in 1953 with a brand of Irish music that scored an instant hit with Newfoundland audiences. Shanneyganock front men Chris Andrews and Mark Hiscock reflect on their own history with the McNulty legacy and explain the music's enduring appeal.
