Pre-empted for 9/11 special from

CBC's Musicraft is pre-empted for this Sunday only by a special program from Gander about the momentous events of September 11th, 2001, and their impact on this province. Dozens of planes and thousands of passengers were diverted to Gander when North American airspace shut down that day. Communities throughout central Newfoundland rose to the occasion and provided shelter, food and support for the displaced passengers. The special, live from Gander's airport, will be hosted by Leigh Anne Power. It will talk to some of those passengers, who are returning for the anniversary, and to some of the local people who made them welcome.
