Provincial Music Festival Part 1
A new wave of young talent, recommended by their local music festivals, takes the stage at the 2011 Provincial Music Festival held at the Sheila Na Geira Theatre in Carbonear. Featured today: Lindsay Wareham, Patrick Edison, Laura Murray, Oliver Dingwell, Paddywagon Trombone Quartet and Adam Batstrone. (Part 1 of 2)

Angela Pickett
Angela Pickett makes a brief visit home from her fast-paced musical life in New York to play viola for the hometown crowd. Some of Angela's fans might remember her playing traditional fiddle, but this is her viola persona in a recital accompanied by Taisiya Pushkar that includes one of Brahms' great sonatas and music that blends the baroque with the brand new by Russian composer Alfred Schnittke.

Feile Seamus Creagh
Accordion players from Newfoundland and Ireland unite to pay homage to the late Irish fiddle player Seamus Creagh. Seamus was a good friend to the music community in Newfoundland and honouring him at this inaugural "Feile Seamus Creagh" at the Elks Club in St. John's are, Irish accordion legend, Jackie Daley, with local players Aaron Collis, Daniel Payne, and Graham Wells.
