Marking a dark moment in Northern Ontario history

February 11th in 1963 was a dark day in Northern Ontario history. That's the day of the Reesor Siding incident. It was a deadly clash between some farmers and some striking forestry workers just west of Kapuskasing. We have an audio report about the event from the CBC archives. Listen (runs 3:01)
