Dan Zakreski digs up a story on 'brownboard' technology

On April 1st, we bring you the story about a pioneering technology that city officials say will help ease the housing crunch in Saskatoon.

Engineers at the city's sewage treatment plant began diverting high-fibre effluent last year. Rather than reducing the effluent to brown cakes and then hauling it to the landfill, they are instead running it through giant rollers, heating and baking it and then cutting it into 4x8 sheets.

Happy April Fools!
