well in school and dropping out.
LAUNCH DAY - Wednesday, October 1, 2008
On Wednesday, October 1, CBC Radio One's
Daybreak had a special broadcast that profiled
the Youth in Montreal North. Daybreak spoke to both the youth
and the police from the area. Perspectives from both parties
were heard and can be heard here on our website.
Radio Noon
Radio noon will be hosting weekly Monday phone-ins with and
about young people. The show will provide a forum for you
to voice your opinions. Let us know by calling 514-597-4500
in Montreal, or toll-free 1-877-597-4500.
Homerun
Homerun will introduce you to remarkable youth who are making

to young humanitarians, you’ll meet them all on Homerun.
LAUNCH DAY - Wednesday, October 1, 2008
CBC Radio One's Homerun launched the Montreal
Matters series while taking part in our very first Montreal
Matters event. On Wedensday, October 1, here at the CBC building,
Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de L'Ouest-de-l'Ile held their "Entrepreneurship
for Life" workshop. Homerun brought students into the
studio to learn about their Entrepreneuship strategeis. Did
you miss the show? Check it out here on our website.
All In A Weekend
All in a Weekend will invite youth to participate directly
in the show’s programming. You’ll hear interviews
by youth about stories close to their heart.
Cinq à Six
Cinq à Six will give an entire show over to a group
of young people, offering them the chance to make the radio
show they’d like to make and hear.
