"Meet the Net Generation: Using the Web for Social Change"

TakingITGlobal is an international organization, led by youth and empowered by technology. Mai Ngo, of TakingITGlobal, will speak about how young people are using technology today to become inspired, informed, and involved citizens in Canadian society.

A live online chat with youth across Canada (entitled Youth Speak democracy) will take place in conjunction with RadioNoon, as an example of how dialogue can be ignited using the internet. Also, young leaders from around the world will be called in to share their thoughts on the power of technology as a tool for change. So don't miss out on this interactive event that will bring you the voices of youth from Canada and abroad.

When: Monday, October 27, during RadioNoon. Listen here.
