"A Night at the Library" - Pierrefond Library

For Halloween the library will be opened specially for you and your friends! There will be Halloween-filled stories, entertainment, surprises and scares! Make sure to bring your sleeping bag!

CitizenShift invites you to a 'show and tell' of 4 creative media
projects featuring youth voices. This exciting event will bring
facilitators and participants together to share and compare their
works and experiences. What is the key to success? Join us to find out.

This event will be hosted by CBC's Mahalia Verna.

"Social Science Festival"

A week of conferences, panel discussions, films and presentations on the theme of “Humans and Our World”.

Events happening today:


8:30am-10:00am - "From Emergency Response to Development Response: An inside look at USAID, Development Organizations and Food Insecurity in Malawi" by Ricardo Duenez

10:00am-11:30am - Writer, teacher and filmmaker, Michael Mackenzie will be discussing his just released film, "Adam's Wall", which is about youths and cultural diversity and in which some Vanier students appeared.

11:30am
- 1:00pm - Equiterre: "From Dream to Reality" by Sidney Ribeaux

1:00pm-2:30pm - "Politics and Biodiversity" by Oliver Hillel
