What matters to you?
Through Montreal Matters we hope to enhance public understanding
about an issue of broad concern to Montrealers, and to do
so in innovative ways through our broadcasts and through the
activities of our partners.
We need to take the pulse of Montreal so that the Montreal
Matters series in October 2006 provides information, entertains,
and stimulates discussion on an issue of central importance
to the lives of the citizens of our city. What issues or ideas
are you thinking about? What have you been hearing your family,
friends and co-workers talk about? What do you see emerging
as critical in the life of Montreal?

Montreal Matters has wrapped up for this year but
that doesn't mean that it's over! Feel free to visit the Media
Archive for radio and televison reports on a wide range
of work related topics. You can also visit the calendar for
a synopsis of the activites the CBC and our partners presented
for this edition of Montreal Matters.
What is Montreal Matters?
It is our city’s most comprehensive, revealing
and thought-provoking exploration of an issue that matters
to Montrealers. Montreal Matters is a multi-media, multi-partner
initiative spearheaded by CBC Montreal. This year we tackle
the issue of WORK.
Why Work?
In this fourth year, Montreal Matters continues its look
at life’s basics. We spend over two thirds of our adult
life at work and the way we work has changed drastically over
the last 25 years. Montreal Matters will explore challenges,
successes, innovations, and other factors that determine our
relationships with WORK. Find
