| Montreal Matters 2004: What
matters to you?
Through Montreal Matters we hope to enhance public understanding
about an issue of broad concern to Montrealers, and to do so in
innovative ways through our broadcasts and through the activities
of our partners.
We need to take the pulse of Montreal so that the Montreal Matters
series in October 2004 provides information, entertains, and stimulates
discussion on an issue of central importance to the lives of the
citizens of our city. What issues or ideas are you thinking about?
What have you been hearing your family, friends and co-workers talk
about? What do you see emerging as critical in the life of Montreal?
Let us know what matters to you! Send an email to: montrealmatters@cbc.ca

November 2003:
End of the Montreal Matters Series
The Montreal Matters project, in October 2003, was a wonderful success,
bringing together a wide spectrum of organisations and individuals
in our community. The participation and the enthusiasm of the public
in attending events, seeing & hearing the CBC Television and
Radio broadcasts as well as visiting the CBC.CA website, was impressive.
Bringing together these institutions and people stimulated interest
and debate in a wide range of issues related to defining home, exactly
as the CBC and our partners had hoped. Next year we will be bringing
this project back again and plan for even greater engagement of
our community. We would welcome your comments about Montreal Matters
2003 in addition to your ideas for the 2004 version of Montreal
Matters as well.
