UAW in tentative concessions deal with Ford

The United Auto Workers union said Tuesday it has reached a tentative deal on contract concessions with Ford Motor Co.
The UAW said details will be released to plant-level union leaders meeting in Detroit on Tuesday. Those leaders will vote whether to recommend the offer to their 41,000 members.
Ford wants concessions similar to those the UAW gave GM and Chrysler.

Ford sought concessions similar to those the UAW gave General Motors and Chrysler. Unlike those two, Ford has been able to avoid filing for court protection from creditors.
