Kultura: Filipino Arts Festival

Kapisanan Philippines Centre/Artscape Wychwood Barns
The annual festival features outdoor live music, spoken word poetry performances, and an arts & crafts market with goods made by Filipino-Canadian artists available for sale. Also returning this year -- the Philippine Culinary Competition with the theme of Kain Kalye: Filipino Street Eats, where Toronto's best Filipino restaurants and chefs will go head to head with their own interpretations of Filipino roadside cuisine.

Agak, Agak, Hawk: Storytelling and Street Food Festival
Sit around a circle and eat elbow to elbow. Interact through ingredients while rolling out tales and salad rolls, mash-up sauces, and mix among art, song, and dance together. The event also features a graffiti corridor of unique vendors from community caterers, street food sellers, and established restaurants enthusiastically hawking delicious dishes alongside anecdotes about the women who have inspired them along the way.
