Recreating Dublin in Toronto, and other things to do
Start point: TTC Loop at Neville Park
Toronto joins in this international literary holyday celebration, where actors will recreate passages from Ulysses and The Beaches will stand-in for Dublin. Later in the day, the same actors will participate in an around the world reading of the Joyce classic, which starts in Auckland and ends in San Francisco.

Toronto Japanese Film Festival

Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre
The Toronto Japanese Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing the finest Japanese films that have been recognized for excellence by Japanese audiences and critics, international film festival audiences and the Japanese Film Academy. Films screening this year range from romantic comedies and manga inspired stories to samurai action flicks.
