Spring fun in the city!!!

The last two seedy events of the year! Get inspired to get your gardens growing. Buy, sell and trade heirloom variety seeds including vegetables, herbs, flowers and native species. There will be workshops, an area for kids as well as local treats.

Earth Hour

Roncesvalles Village/Kew Gardens

Lights turn out at 8:30 PM, but the celebrations start much before that. Check out a kids lantern making workshop at Smock Cafe (1-5 PM) in Roncesvalles, while music and dance festivities start at 7:30 PM in the Beaches. Following that, there will be community walks, concerts and other candle-lit activities.

Easter Egg Fun

Get ready for Easter! Check out the Easter Egg Painting Family Workshop at Todmorden Mills Family Heritage Site where you can learn how to make Pysanka. You can also learn this ancient Ukranian Easter egg painting tradition, with all its wax-resistant glory, at Articulations in The Junction. And Colborne Lodge has egg hunts and egg races besides egg-dyeing activities.

501 Streetcar Food Tour

The 501 Queen Streetcar route is the longest surface route in North America AND one of the longest in the world! This line runs approximately 24.8 kilometres traversing Toronto from the east-west. You will go through countless distinct Toronto neighbourhoods and experience the many tastes of Toronto.
