The man who once owned most of this country's newspapers - and many more in the United States and overseas - will soon be back in a Florida jail serving the final months of his sentence.
You will remember that in 2004, Lord Black of Crossharbour was fired as chairman of the publishing company Hollinger International after being accused of fraud. He was subsequently indicted, put on trial in Chicago, found guilty on some charges, and then successfully appealed most - but not all - of those convictions.
While behind bars, Black wrote a book which will be released in a couple of weeks. It's called A Matter of Principle. In it, he continues to maintain his complete innocence... and his criticism of the American justice and prison systems. Conrad Black will be in prison when it's published on September 15th, so we spoke ahead of time from the CBC's studio in New York.
