Special Screening: How To Start a Revolution

A documentary on life of Dr. Gene Sharp, the leading expert on non-violent revolution, this film takes the viewer through some of most recent revolutions triggered by his work. As groups across North America take part in occupy campaigns such as "Occupy Wall St." in dozens of cities, this is a timely screening.

Book Launch: Beto's Burrito

Join the book's illustrator Cassie McDaniel at the launch of Beto's Burrito, as she takes you behind the scenes of creating this wondrously colourful book aimed at children ages 5 and up. There will be Latin-themed food and music, and lots of giveaways.

Tweed Ride Toronto is a group bicycle ride through downtown Toronto, in which the cyclists are encouraged to dress in classic tweed or any smart looking outfit. Any effort made to recreate the spirit of a bygone era is also appreciated. Any and all bicycles are acceptable.
