About Karen Gordon

After spending a decade working at a major record company, she hosted a variety of arts and entertainment shows on CBC radio, television and CBC News Network.
In addition to her movie column, she works as a producer, music programmer and guest host for a number of CBC shows, including Fresh Air and As It Happens.
She was the story editor and co-writer on the feature documentary "Hatsumi," about the internment of Japanese Canadians, released through Alliance Films in 2012. She has co-written two award winning cookbooks with celebrity chef David Rocco. And yes, she is working on a screenplay.
