"Encounter Camp"

Encounter programs, as they are sometimes called, are common in Israel. The goal is to help people entrenched in conflict build relationships. Metro Morning's Mary Wiens brings us the story of three teenagers, a summer camp External Site in Ontario, and a life-changing trip.

He's been making music for a good ten years and he's been a sideman with a number of local rockabilly artists like Ronnie Hayward and Tennessee Voodoo Coupe. He released his first album titled "Unmarked Grave" five years back, it an aggressive mix of rockabilly and punk. But his new disc, says our music columnist Errol Nazareth, is mellower and has more of a retro sound.
