Spooky stuff for the Halloween weekend!

Want to create your own spooky mystery this Halloween? Check out this writing workshop series that showcases new works of fiction for the 8-to-12 set. In this session, work with acclaimed graphic artist and novelist EVAN MUNDAY. Evan will create drawings of a few possible murder victims, several possible locations of death,... and a handful of possible suspects. Young authors can choose their favourites, and, use them as a springboard for their own spellbinding tales.

Night of Dread

Is City Hall the scariest thing you've seen this Halloween Season? Clay & Paper Theatre is tackling the subject in our 12th annual Night of Dread, featuring Service Cutbacks as our "Fear of the Year". Through a series of workshops, Clay & Paper worked with the local community to select service cuts as the scariest thing happen...ing in the GTA this year. To address community concerns, we have created a giant papier-mâché gravy boat symbolizing government cutbacks (to be unveiled at Night of Dread) which will meet its fiery end in a cathartic spectacle.
