MarthaStewart.convicted

Martha Stewart was convicted of conspiracy, making false statements and obstruction of justice. This doesn't really come as much of a surprise, considering Martha, an anally retentive, micro-managing control freak, claimed that she had no idea what was going on regarding the sale of her ImClone Systems stock.

So, with sentencing on the horizon, Martha has overhauled her website to cater to her newest clientele: the "institutional reform" set.

Included on the new version of the site are articles such as:
  • Small Spaces: how to freshen your cell for Spring
  • Weaving your own rope belts
  • Stripes are in! The slimming fashion trend
Supporters of Martha Stewart are encouraged to send Martha cigarettes, new clothes, and lilacs, because a cell isn't a home without flowers.

Kingston, Ontario. Canada's first capital. The limestone city. Home to Fort Henry. But those aren't the only things that make Kingston unique.

While you're in Kingston, it's likely you'll come across poutine, Stages, Phase 2, the Penitentiaries, the University, and a member of The Tragically Hip.

This week, Rick visits Kingston and Queen's University for an in-depth exclusive on Higher Education. What are the students of today learning? Math? Science? Philosophy? Boat racing?

We live in a world where people will stop at nothing to get your attention, support and/or money. They'll phone, email, or knock on your door, completely insensitive to the fact that your private time is your own.

With a federal election on the horizon, it's all about to start again. Are you ready to rumble?

Whether you're interested in Dr. Who, facial hair, Samuel L. Jackson, politics or law, it's likely you can find a club on your local university campus to satisfy your need to congregate with like-minded folks.

Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario is home to a blistering campus club scene where students can choose from an endless array of clubs to gab, play and get drunk with.

Monday Report decided to sniff around and discover some of the less conventional types of clubs available to an adventurous student.

Over the last few months, it's safe to say most people wouldn't want to change places with Conrad Black.

He's been publicly ridiculed and financially brutalized. He's sued and been sued. Will he have to give up his Lordship for a Ladship?

Going from a multi-billionaire corporate tycoon to a persecuted social outcast can't be easy for anyone. Especially a fragile soul like Lord Conrad Black. He hurts inside just like the rest of us.

While it's easy to see why some have little sympathy for the Dark Lord, Monday Report would like to offer the situation a little Canadian perspective.
