Tony Doucette

Tony Doucette brings more than 35 years of broadcasting experience to Windsor Morning.
Tony's career began in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1976.

The native of Oromocto, New Brunswick joined the CBC in 1984. Tony arrived in Windsor in 1989, and served five years as the voice of morning sports on CBC Radio One's Morning Watch program. He moved to television sports in 1994. A self-confessed radio 'junkie', Tony returned to his favourite medium in January of 2006, as the first host of The Early Shift.

Tony is an active participant in the Windsor community. He is heavily involved in sport, as coach of a Tecumseh senior womens' soccer team. He enjoys running and cycling. Tony is one of eight men to hold the Guinness World Record for marathon curling. Other interests include hockey, reading and music.

Throughout the past twenty-three years, Tony has continued to provide innovative, intelligent coverage of issues and events in Windsor and Essex County.

Tony lives in Windsor with his wife Alma, and his daughters, Jessi and Jamie.
