Peter Mansbridge’s Exclusive Interviews to Air on THE NATIONAL on CBC-TV and CBC News Network, beginning Monday, September 7

From Sept. 7 to 11, CBC News Chief Correspondent Peter Mansbridge will be sitting down with party leaders to discuss the issues that matter most to Canadians in a series of interview firsts, to air daily on THE NATIONAL, CBC’s flagship nightly news program (CBC News at 10 p.m./10:30 NT and CBC News Network at 9 p.m.).

Canadians across the country can tune in to hear Peter’s in-depth conversations with Conservative Party Leader Stephen Harper on Monday, Sept. 7, Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau on Tuesday, Sept. 8, NDP Party Leader Tom Mulcair on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and Green Party Leader Elizabeth May on Friday, Sept. 11. Canadians can also watch the extended interviews online at cbcnews.ca.

CBC will announce more details of the many ways it will bring relevant, timely election coverage to Canadians during the campaign and right up to election day.
