For those who think Oakville, Ontario is the most boring place on Earth (a) you've never been to Sackville and (b) at least it gave us Mark Forward.
From the start Mark was a breakout talent, being a finalist for the Phil Hartman Award and the 2005 Canadian Comedy Award-winner for Best Stand-up Newcomer.
In 2006, he kept winning with a stop at the Just For Laughs Festival, where he won the Homegrown Comic Competition, and the Halifax Comedy Festival, where he is now making his third appearance.
He was also on the writing staff of The Comedy Network's hit show The Jon Dore Television Show for 2 seasons for which he received his second Canadian Comedy Award in 2008 for Writing on a TV Series.
Mark is also a familiar face for numerous commercials and appearances on shows like "The Newsroom", "Doc", "Degrassi: The Next Generation" and on his own Comedy Now! special. He's appeared on the Lifetime series "Double Wedding", and The Movie Network's "Living In Your Car".
