Leading Canadian brands showcased at TIFF 2012 at the Made In Canada Lounge hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos Toinght

Audiences and celebrity guests to sample some of Canada's most coveted products from a number of Canadian artists and designers

GEORGE STROUMBOULOPOULOS TONIGHT announced today a special initiative that will highlight and promote some of Canada's best lifestyle and clothing products at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF): the show's Made In Canada Lounge, which features an array of homegrown Canadian brands from emerging Canadian artists and designers, to socially conscious enterprises and flagship household names.

Product and décor sponsors have made it possible for lucky audience members and celebrity guests of the show to sample some of Canada's most coveted products throughout TIFF, from September 6th to September 16th.

Celebrity guests who stop by will take a seat in the show's signature red chairs and experience a collection of contemporary and distinctly Canadian brands brought together for this special homegrown showcase.  Some studio audience members at live tapings will have a chance to take home a selection of products, and Canadians across the country will also be able to sample some of the products through an online contest at  (Visit the website for more details.)

Dani Reiss, President & CEO of Canada Goose:

"Cold weather is part of our national identity, as is George Stroumboulopoulos and the CBC. Our involvement with the Made In Canada Lounge is a great partnership, and one that allows us to showcase our parkas, vests and jackets which have proudly been made in Canada since 1957."

Tal Dehtiar, Founder & President of Oliberté Footwear:

"We are extremely excited to be a part of the Made in Canada Lounge. As a company with strong Canadian roots, Oliberté's involvement allows us not only to promote our cool and fashionable goods, but to also tell Oliberté's unique story by spreading the word of our mission to create one million fair trade jobs in Africa."
